It is nearly 50 years since Dad’s Army became weekly TV viewing and even today the exploits of the Home Guard continue to delight. This new tour takes us on a nostalgic trip to some of the key locations behind this iconic comedy. A holiday in this area is not complete without a visit to the magnificent National Stud where you can view the horses and the workings of this commercial stud farm. We also include an interesting visit to the Chocolate Lady.

Morning departure to Stamford before continuing to Huntingdon for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel.
Depart early to Newmarket Stud gallops and to view the stallions in residence. We continue to Sudbury and The Chocolate Lady – where you will see the art of chocolate making, set in the delightful village of Steeple Bumpstead (including tea & biscuits).
Dads Army Experience as we visit the filming location of Thetford where we enjoy an entertaining walking tour followed by time in the Dad’s Army Museum. We continue to Bressingham Steam & Gardens, the official home to the Dads Army Appreciation Society's collection.
Depart for home with a stop at Springfield Shopping Village and Festival Gardens, arriving into the local area early evening.
