This short break takes us to the capital of Northern Ireland and highlights some of the most renowned scenery in the world as we visit the Antrim Coast and the memorable Giants Causeway. We travel via Loch Ryan to board the afternoon Stena Line ferry to Belfast. We check in for 4 nights half board accommodation at the luxurious Stormont Hotel located just minutes away from Belfast City Centre, adjacent to Stormont Castle and overlooking the beautiful grounds of the Stormont Estate.
Our destination today is the shores of Strangford Lough where we begin with a visit to Mount Stewart Neo-classical house and celebrated gardens. This elegant mansion has one of the most beautiful gardens in Ireland and has been the setting for many Hollywood films and home to some of Northern Ireland's richest people.
Today we follow the Causeway Coastal Route along the Antrim Coast rated as one of the Top Five Road Trips. Enjoy the backdrop of picturesque villages and unforgettable scenic locations as well as a visit to the world-famous Giants Causeway.
The choice is yours today! Join our excursion to the Mountains of Mourne and Newcastle or spend the day in the city of Belfast. We suggest joining a hop on hop off city bus tour to see the local sights or visit one of the many attractions in the city centre.
Morning transfer to Belfast for the mid-day sailing to Loch Ryan. Arriving back into the local area early evening.
