Always popular, we repeat the famous Tynedale Hotel's 'Landlubbers Luxury Cruise'. The wind is always light, the sea is calm and there will be a traditional welcome in our ports of call. Aboard the MV Tynedale, the original land based cruise ship there is an atmosphere of actually being at sea.
The 3 star Tynedale Hotel is an excellent family run hotel overlooking the promenade. As befits all Victorian buildings, the comfortable en suite bedrooms are all shapes and sizes with no two being the same. They have TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer and Wi-Fi. There is a cafe bar and restaurant serving delicious food and you will enjoy top class entertainment each night. There is a lift to most bedrooms.
We travel via Oswaldtwistle Mill for coffee continuing to Llandudno for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Tynedale Hotel. We check in and receive our passports and pass through immigration. Afternoon tea is served with an introduction to the cruise. Join the crew for a pre-dinner aperitif before our first themed dinner. Entertainment followed by a late night finger buffet.
Breakfast on board followed by a drive to Conway, Llanberis Pass and Betws-y-Coed. Themed entertainment prior to dinner, on board entertainment followed by a late night finger buffet.
Breakfast on board then a leisurely drive to the Isle of Anglesey, Beaumaris and Llanfair PG. We return to the hotel for afternoon entertainment before cocktails and dinner followed by cabaret and a late night finger buffet.
Breakfast on board then free time in Llandudno, or stay in the hotel and purchase a light lunch in the Cafe Bar. Return to the hotel for afternoon tea and deck games. Prepare for the Captains cocktail party and dinner. A final evening of entertainment and our final late night finger buffet.
We visit the historic city of Chester and arrive home late afternoon.
