The beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast and the Gower Peninsula are famed all over the world. Carmarthenshire showcases some of the most diverse landscapes in Wales, spectacular mountains, rolling landscape and secluded forests to golden sandy beaches. Our base is the Tywi Valley town of Carmarthen.
The 3 star BIvy Bush Royal Hotel is within walking distance of Carmarthen town centre. The hotel retains its old-world charm blended with modern day facilities, and the restaurant uses local produce. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and Wi-Fi. There is a fitness suite and sauna. There is a lift.
We travel via the main roads and motorways to Carmarthen for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel. Tea or coffee and a Welsh cake will be served on arrival.
Today we head for the Pembrokeshire coast and the resort of Tenby, famous for its picturesque harbour and miles of golden sands. We return via Laugharne the resort on the Taf Estuary made famous by the writings of the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.
We journey to the Gower Peninsula where we enjoy a tour along the Rhossili, with views of the nature reserve of Worm's Head and the dramatic 250ft cliffs. We also visit the resort of Mumbles.

We depart for home, arriving back into the local area early evening.
