We visit the counties of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, including Bakewell, Nottingham and Alrewas, home to the National Memorial Arboretum. We include entry to Crich Tramway Village, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and enjoy a river cruise (with lunch) on the River Trent.

We journey to Bakewell before visiting Crich Tramway Museum, which will transport you back in time. We continue to the Hallmark Mickleover Court Hotel for 4 nights half board accommodation.
We visit Nottingham, famous for the legend of Robin Hood, and enjoy free time. A light Lunch is included as we take an afternoon cruise on the River Trent.
Today we visit the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre & Country Park. Re-live this famous turning point in British history - the death of a King and the birth of the Tudor dynasty. Our return route takes us via the Ferrers Centre for Arts & Crafts.
We spend the day at the National Memorial Arboretum, a memorial to our fallen heroes. It is a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.
We visit the spa town of Buxton on our return journey, arriving home late afternoon.
