We travel north to the outskirts of Aberdeen for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel & Spa.
This morning we visit the Grampian Transport Museum which boasts an impressive range of transport exhibits, from travelling chariots, of the 1800's, to some of the fastest cars ever made. Later in the day we visit Pitmedden Garden & Museum of Farming Life, a re-created Scottish Renaissance walled garden with unique and vibrant floral designs. The museum brings the agricultural past to life.

Today we visit Aberdeenshire Highland Beef, the farm owner Grace will take us on a walking tour of her farm. Grace will offer an insight into the Highland farming methods including the cattle's diet which can include draft, a natural bi product from the Banchory Deeside brewery. They also have their own butchery onsite and offer bespoke cuts of meat to their customer. Grace will also provide a 'beef & tattie' lunch using the finest Highland Cattle meat.
We depart for home, arriving into our local area late afternoon.
