We travel via the main roads and motorways, making suitable stops along the way to Tiverton for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Best Western Tiverton Hotel.
We travel to Bishops Lydeard to join the West Somerset Railway, for a nostalgic rail trip to Minehead. After a lunch break in Dunster we return by coach through the beautiful old moorland and unspoilt countryside of the Exmoor National Park, travelling via Simonsbath, Challacombe and South Molton.
Our excursion today takes us to the attractive market towns of Barnstaple and Bideford.
This morning we enjoy a cruise along the Grand Western Canal by horse-drawn barge. The afternoon is free to explore the town of Tiverton.
We travel to Slimbridge Wetland Centre, home to an astounding array of wildlife including the world’s largest collection of swans, geese and ducks. We continue our journey arriving home early evening.
