Monschau is one of Europe’s best kept secrets, with its 'chocolate box' appeal of narrow streets with floral decked, half- timbered houses and historic old town located in the picturesque Eifel Mountains. Our visits feature two of Europe`s most beautiful rivers and contrast between the peaceful valley of The Moselle, with its vine laden slopes and hillsides, dominated by ancient castles, the bustling river Rhine, Europe`s 'river highway'. Be sure to visit one of the continent`s most magnificent cathedrals as we explore the city of Cologne with its smart riverside promenades, enjoying free time to discover the delights of Monschau. With wine tasting and river cruising included this tour gives a true taste of this unique part of Germany.
