The 3 star Fishguard Bay Hotel is a former 19th century mansion with elegant original features and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a restaurant, lounge and a bar with sea views. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities and hairdryer. Wi-Fi is available in several public areas of the hotel. There is a lift.
We journey via the main roads and motorways to Goodwick for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Fishguard Bay Hotel.
Today we have a full day guided tour exploring the local history, landscape and crafts people of Pembrokeshire. We will stop at various locations including St David's, an attractive coastal village and home to the smallest cathedral in the UK.
We travel to Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales. Wander round its narrow streets and take in its famous indoor market, dating back to Roman Times. There is also an outdoor market. Later we have time in the popular seaside resort of Saundersfoot.
We enjoy free time in Tenby with its colourful buildings, cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and sandy beaches. This afternoon we enjoy an included boat trip to Caldey Island, home to an order of Cistercian Monks, with a picturesque monastery overlooking the village green.
Depart via the main roads and motorways, arriving home early evening.
