A morning visit to West Dean Gardens with its impressive Edwardian pergola, sunken garden and Victorian glasshouses. We continue to Chichester, a cathedral city with ancient city walls and a popular harbour that has become a 'mecca' for sailing enthusiasts.
A morning visit to Arundel, a beautiful town full of ‘olde English’ tea rooms and dominated by the magnificent castle. In the afternoon we head to Brighton, via the South Downs, and visit the magnificent Royal Pavillion with its exotic architecture. You will also have some free time to explore this wonderful Regency resort.
We enjoy a free day in Worthing, where the interesting market adds to the many attractions of our home resort.
We travel via the main roads and motorways, arriving back into our local area early evening.
