Ancient walls, originally built by the Romans, encircle its medieval centre with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses. Our itinerary includes visits to the impressive cathedral, Quex House & Gardens (home to the Powel-Cotton Museum) and Leeds Castle, described as 'the loveliest castle in the world'.

We visit Quex House & Gardens, home to the Powel-Cotton Museum. Take time to visit the house and gardens, which are simply stunning. Later we return to Canterbury via the seaside town of Ramsgate.
This morning we include a visit to Leeds Castle, described as 'the loveliest castle in the world'. Discover almost 900 years of history and explore 500 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens. We return to Canterbury via the charming village of Chilham.
We return home via the main roads and motorways, arriving into the local area early evening.
