Morning departure, we include a coffee stop in Levens en route to Heysham for the afternoon crossing to Douglas. Our accommodation is 4 nights half board at the Rutland Hotel, Douglas.

  • We travel to Castletown, one of the oldest towns in the British Isles. Its narrow streets and small fishing cottages prove its ancient past. We continue to Port Erin and visit Cregneash Folk Village, we discover the Manx cottages to see how crofters lived through stories, skills and craft demonstrations.
  • Exploring the north of the island and visit Tynwald Hill, home of the 1000-year-old Manx Parliament. We follow some of the famous TT Motorcycle Course, to 'Royal' Ramsey, then board the Manx Electric Railway for a scenic journey through the countryside to Laxey before boarding the Snaefell Mountain Railway for a return journey up to the highest point of the island.
  • A trip over to the west coast and the resort of Peel. For our final afternoon we head back to Douglas, for free time in the island's capital.
