This cosy Winter break is based at the Raven Hall Hotel, with its dramatic cliff top location overlooking Robin Hood's Bay in the North York Moors National Park. This hotel received some fantastic feedback from our Seaside Mystery Tour and boasts excellent facilities. We enjoy a guided excursion and include visits to some of the highlights of Yorkshire, including Whitby, Beverley and 'Heartbeat Country'.
The 3 star Raven Hall Country House Hotel is in beautiful surroundings offering a great base between Whitby & Scarborough. There is a restaurant, bar and lounge. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer and Wi-Fi. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room, tennis courts, putting green, croquet lawn and bowls. There is a lift to first and second floors.

We travel to Pickering, where it is market day, before continuing for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Raven Hall Hotel.
Today we take a short drive to Whitby where you can explore the narrow-cobbled streets of the old town, visit the Captain Cook museum or just sample the fantastic fish & chips and take in the sea air.
The Yorkshire Wolds are our destination today with our included guide. We travel to Staxton, Beverley, including a short walking tour, and Flamborough Head.
We take a short drive to the picturesque fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay, once renowned for smuggling, where those who wish to can take the steep walk into the village. We continue to Goathland, the setting for the TV series 'Heartbeat', Danby & Hutton le Hole, before returning for a free afternoon at the hotel.
We depart for home via Guisborough and Northallerton before arriving into our local area early evening.
