On our Constable Country day we have a guide who will bring this region to life. We also include a day on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
The 4 star Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel is in the heart of Suffolk countryside. We travel to Cambridge, before continuing to Woodbridge near Ipswich for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Ufford Park Hotel.
We enjoy a guided tour of Constable Country and the Suffolk Wool Towns. Our guide will bring to life the villages of Lavenham, Dedham and Flatford Mill.
We visit the Suffolk Heritage Coast, the resort of Aldeburgh where little has changed since Victorian times, and Southwold, seen by many as the town that time forgot.
We spend time in Ipswich, before we visit the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo, an ancient Anglo-Saxon royal burial site that has been transformed into an interesting exhibition.
We visit Stamford before travelling home, arriving late afternoon.
