Beamish is a living, working museum, set in 300 acres of beautiful Durham countryside. This year the famous annual steam fair has a First World War focus with an extraordinary line-up of around 120 exhibits including steam locomotives, road steam vehicles, motor and military vehicles. There will be a real sense of the roads and railways of the Home Front during the Great War and First World War re-enactors will help set the scene during this thought provoking event.
Entry included. Leave for home 5.00pm.
