Helmsley is a delightful market town in the North York Moors National Park, attractions include the Birds of Prey Centre, Helmsley Castle and it even has its own brewery. It boasts award winning eateries, excellent shopping in interesting and unique stores, galleries and boutiques and is even home to the winner of the Britain's Best Small Shop 2015 (2 hour stay).
Whitby is famous for many things - The ruined Gothic Abbey which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', the Captain Cook connection, the lovely character shops and pubs and of course the Fish & Chips!! Whitby is one of the Yorkshire Coasts' best loved seaside resorts and you will enjoy a wonderful day here exploring and meandering the cobbled streets and alleyways (3.5 hour stay)
