Due to the success of previous stays we are pleased to base this 4 night break at the excellent Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan, a friendly welcoming hotel and one that we have used many times. From here our varied excursions feature the Titanic Museum in Belfast and the Mountains of Mourne. An ideal short break to experience the beauty of Ireland.

The 3 star Four Seasons Hotel is an elegant and modern property situated on the outskirts of Monaghan, offering first class accommodation and a friendly atmosphere. The Range restaurant offers locally sourced, delicious food and there is a bar and lounge. The Leisure club has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. All the recently refurbished bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, iron, complimentary toiletries and Wi-Fi. There is a lift.
Travel via the Galloway coast to Loch Ryan to board the lunchtime Stena Line ferry to Belfast. We then travel into the centre and include entry to the award-winning Titanic Exhibition and Museum. Inside this iconic building, visitors will re-live the entire Titanic story from her birth in Belfast to the fateful maiden voyage and her eventual discovery on the Atlantic seabed. Later in the day we continue to the outskirts of Monaghan for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Four Seasons Hotel.
This morning we journey along the shores of Carlingford Lough and enjoy the stunning scenery of the famous Mountains of Mourne, a granite mountain range located in County Down in the south-east of Northern Ireland.
Today we include a visit to the town of Omagh and the Ulster American Folk Park. Immerse yourself in the story of Irish emigration at the museum that brings it to life. Experience the adventure that takes you from the thatched cottages of Ulster, on board a full scale emigrant sailing ship, to the log cabins of the American Frontier. Meet an array of costumed characters on your way with traditional crafts to show, tales to tell and food to share.
Our first stop today is the county town of Enniskillen, located on the shores of Lough Erne. We then continue via Loch Allen to Carrick on Shannon, a picturesque town and bustling marina on the banks of the river Shannon.
After breakfast we transfer to Belfast for the lunchtime Stena Line ferry to Loch Ryan. We disembark and travel south, arriving home early evening.
