The 3 star Best Western Grosvenor Hotel is located only 3 minutes from the centre of Stratford, it is steeped in history and close to 180 years old, offering intimate lounges and modern bedrooms. All the en suite rooms have flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, tea making facilities and hairdryer. There is no lift but ground floor rooms are available.
We travel to Staffordshire and visit the National Memorial Arboretum (free entry), the UK’s Centre of Remembrance. Later we continue to Stratford-upon-Avon for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel.
A morning guided tour which includes visits to Mary Arden`s farm and Anne Hathaway`s Cottage. We return to Stratford for a free afternoon.
Today our guide joins us once again, for a full day tour of the beautiful Cotswolds. We pass orchards full of autumn colour and thatched cottages of honey coloured stone as we visit the villages of Pershore and Broadway, stopping in Evesham, another Cotswolds gem.
We travel to Moreton in Marsh with time for refreshment before our visit to Bourton House Garden with its terraces and herbaceous borders, imaginative topiary and unique shade house.
We return via Dunnington Heath Farm shop and tea rooms and Bridgemere Garden World. Arrive home late afternoon.
