Depart for Houghton Hall Garden Centre, The Sill & Newcastle
We travel to Houghton Hall Garden Centre and then to The Sill, a world-class facility and visitor experience in the heart of Hadrian's Wall UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, we continue to the outskirts of Newcastle for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Holiday Inn Gosforth Park Hotel.

Holy Island
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is our destination today, with time to explore the ancient castle and priory, or stroll around the attractive harbour and take in the stunning views. (Subject to tide timings)

Alnwick & the Northumbria Coast
Today we travel via Morpeth and Rothbury to visit historic Alnwick where you will find the fascinating Barter Books, a gem of a second-hand bookstore complete with its own café. Later we return via Alnmouth, Warkworth, Amble and Newbiggin, highlighting some of the beauty of the Northumbrian coastline.

Ad Gefrin & Bamburgh or Seahouses
We start our day with a visit to Ad Gefrin at Wooler, a fascinating new museum and whisky distillery. You will discover Anglo Saxon Northumbria through an immersive experience in the Great Hall and take a guided tour and tasting in the magnificent distillery. Later we travel to Bamburgh with its famous castle and beach or visit Seahouses.
Friday
Date : 30 April, 2027
Return Home via Durham
We return via the impressive Angel of the North and then onwards to visit the stunning city of Durham. We continue our journey home, arriving into the local area late afternoon.
