An early start as we journey to Northumberland and the bustling market town of Alnwick with its eclectic collection of individual shops and of course, the fascinating Barter Books (2½ hr stay). The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is our next destination. This historic tidal island is reached by a causeway and has a unique heritage with its beautiful Benedictine Priory and impressive 16th century castle, sited atop the volcanic mound known as Beblowe Crag.  Add to this beautiful beaches, wildlife and an air of tranquillity and Holy Island has something to offer everyone! (3 hr stay approx).

PICK UP POINTS:  6.35 am Settle Whitefriars CP or Falcon Hotel ⚫ 6.45 am Austwick Bus Stop ⚫ 6.50 am Clapham Opp Village Store ⚫ 7.00 am Ingleton Bibby’s Depot ⚫ 7.10 am Kirkby Lonsdale Square ⚫ 7.20 am Preston Patrick Memorial Hall* ⚫ Tebay or Penrith on request (Leave 5 pm). Times are subject to change due to tide times. Entries not included.

*PLEASE NOTE: When parking at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall there is now a charge of £5 per car and parking is limited to 5 spaces. All cars must park at the rear of the hall nearest the canal. When the coach arrives to collect you our driver will hand you a ticket which must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle before you board the coach. Alternatively, you can park at our Ingleton Depot free of charge.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR EXCURSION

If you cancel an excursion with an inclusive entry/lunch etc we will refund the transport element only, unless we are able to re-sell the seat. We will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes. Under 7 days no refunds will be given.

If you cancel an excursion without an inclusive entry/lunch etc we will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes and refund the remainder. Under 7 days no refunds will be given.

If you cancel a theatre day trip you will be refunded only if we re-sell the seat and ticket. Then we will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes.
