We travel into North Wales to enjoy the stunning Autumn scenery of the Snowdonia National Park and feature visits to some Welsh gems including Bodnant Garden and Pormeirion. The Royal Victoria Hotel is set at the foot of Mount Snowdon in formal gardens, ancient woodland and even a 12th century castle ruin. A truly scenic Welsh break!

We travel via the North Wales coast to Llanberis for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Royal Victoria Hotel.

Tuesday

Betws-y-Coed & Bodnant Garden

We explore the Snowdonia National Park, taking in magnificent views as we travel via the Llanberis Pass to Betws-y-Coed. We continue to Bodnant Garden, nestling in the Snowdonian foothills you can expect to see a breath-taking Autumn display of fiery red and amber prunus, acers and cornus scattered throughout the terraces, meadows, and water gardens.

Caernarfon, Beaumaris & Llanfair PG

Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is our first destination today. Later we cross the Menai Straits for a visit to charming Beaumaris, with its own medieval castle, and Llanfair PG.

Thursday

Beddgelert & Portmeirion

This morning we head to Beddgelert where you will have time for a coffee. We continue to the bustling harbour town of Porthmadog, with impressive views of the mountains and river estuary. After a short drive we arrive at the unique Italianate style village of Portmeirion, where the stunning houses and pavilions overlook the sea at Cardigan Bay.

Return home via Bala Lake & Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

We travel home via Bala Lake and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, arriving into our local area late afternoon.
