The **** RIVERSIDE LODGE HOTEL on the outskirts of Irvine, offers contemporary accommodation, comfortable lounges, a superb restaurant, and friendly staff. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, ironing facilities, and Wi-Fi. The hotel does not have a lift, but ground floor rooms are available.

Depart for Kirkcudbright & Irvine
We travel to Kirkcudbright, on the Solway coast. We continue along the Ayrshire coast to the outskirts of Irvine for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Riverside Lodge Hotel.
Tuesday

Isle of Bute Tour & Mount Stuart House & Gardens
*A full day on the Isle of Bute including a guided tour of the island and a visit to Mount Stuart House & Gardens, a spectacular Neo-Gothic mansion set amongst stunning gardens. Packed lunch included.
*Please note: In the event of poor weather or ferry cancellation on the day we will offer an alternative excursion (guided) on the mainland. We will always act with the best interests and safety of our passengers in mind.
Wednesday

Turnberry & Culzean Castle
We journey south to Turnberry, with its world-famous golf course, before continuing to Culzean Castle, a beautiful clifftop castle set in tremendous grounds. We return via Troon, with its stunning views of the Isle of Arran.

The Burrell Collection & Loch Lomond
We visit the Burrell Collection on the outskirts of Glasgow, which tells the story of Sir William Burrell and his family through a modern and interactive exhibition of antiques, art & collectables. Later we continue to Luss and the Loch Lomond Shores visitor attraction.
Friday

Dumfries House & Return Home
We visit Dumfries House one of Britain's most beautiful stately homes. We include the 90 minute ‘Grand Tour’ and refreshments. Saved by the intervention of HRH Prince Charles in 2007, Dumfries House combines the neoclassical architecture of Robert Adam with the furniture of Thomas Chippendale and leading 18th-Century Scottish cabinet makers plus the beautifully restored 5-acre Queen Elizabeth walled garden. Later we journey home, arriving into our local area late afternoon.
