We travel north, calling at Dumfries House, an 18th century house and estate which was saved by the patronage of HM King Charles III. We include a 1 hr guided tour and refreshments. We continue to Larkhall for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Radstone Hotel.Tuesday

Peebles & Great Tapestry of Scotland
Today we visit the pretty border towns of Peebles and Galashiels, situated at the heart of Scotland’s historic textile industry. We include entry to the Great Tapestry of Scotland, in Galashiels. One hundred and sixty breath-taking panels, created by 1,000 stitchers, bring to life the colourful history and culture of this vibrant nation all displayed in a magnificent purpose-built contemporary gallery and visitor’s centre.Wednesday

This morning we head to the pretty village of South Queensferry with its magnificent views of the Forth bridges, before making our way into the cosmopolitan city of Edinburgh. Return Home via New Lanark World Heritage Site
We depart our hotel and call at New Lanark World Heritage site where you can explore the restored textile mill, village store, mill shop & café. Later we continue our return, arriving into our local area late afternoon.Supplements
