Travel to Huntingdon

Morning departure via the main roads and motorways with a visit to Stamford, widely regarded as one of the finest stone towns in England. We continue to Huntingdon for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel.

Huntingdon & Cambridge

Morning in Huntingdon where you can take the opportunity to visit the Cromwell Museum. Later in the day we travel to Cambridge for a guided tour (including part walking). Free time follows to explore.

Newmarket Stud, Studbury and The Chocolate Lady

We depart early to Newmarket Stud to see the gallops with a chance to see behind the scenes of the most prestigious stud farm in the country, view the stallions in residence, plus the foaling unit and nursery yards. We continue to Sudbury and The Chocolate Lady – a witty and wonderful afternoon where you will see the art of chocolate making on a working farm set in the delightful village of Steeple Bumpstead (including tea & biscuits)

Knebworth House

Today we visit Knebworth House a lavish Tudor stately home and gardens famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton, who wrote 'It was a dark and stormy night'. We include entry to the house and gardens.

Return home

Homeward bound with a stop at Springfield Shopping Village and Festival Gardens. We arrive home early evening.
