We travel South via the main roads and motorways to Painswick Rococo Gardens, set in a hidden Cotswold valley. We include a short talk on the history of snowdrop cultivation and their link to the Rococo Garden. We continue to the Best Western Blunsdon House Hotel near Swindon for 2 nights half board accommodation.

City of Bath

We travel to Bath, with its Georgian terraces, original Roman spa, and picturesque setting on the banks of the River Avon. Here we include a guided coach tour before free time to explore this historic city.

Depart for Batsford Arboretum & Home

A morning visit to Batsford Arboretum and Wild Garden, home to one of the largest private tree collections in the country. In Spring the arboretum bursts into new life with delicate snowdrops, bright yellow aconites, and hellebores. Departing early afternoon, we travel home via the main roads and motorways.
