The North Norfolk coast is stunning, around 400 square miles at the far eastern tip of England. The landscape includes wide sandy beaches, pine forests, salt marshes and pretty villages. We include a rail journey on the Bure Valley Railway, a cruise on the Norfolk Broads and a visit to the Sandringham Estate. The *** VIRGINIA COURT HOTEL is independently owned and located just a short stroll from Cromer’s sandy beaches, cliff tops and shops. It offers high standards with an elegant dining room serving locally sourced produce, quiet lounge, and bar. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, a limited number of ground floor rooms are available with all other rooms on the first floor.

Cruise on the famous broads

This morning we enjoy a 1.5hr cruise on the famous broads, taking in the unique landscape and abundant wildlife as we go. Later we take a trip on the Bure Valley Railway, a nostalgic trip on a traditional narrow gauge steam train.

Sandringham House

We visit Sandringham House, the country estate of His Majesty the King, where you can view the main ground floor rooms used by the Royal family and take a stroll around the formal gardens.

Sheringham & free time in Cromer

We take a coastal drive to Sheringham, where you can enjoy this traditional seaside resort before we return for free time in Cromer. Stroll along the pier or discover more about the RNLI heritage at the Henry Blogg Museum.

Return home

We depart for home, arriving back into our local area mid to late evening.
