The North Norfolk coast is stunning, around 400 square miles at the far eastern tip of England. The landscape includes wide sandy beaches, pine forests, salt marshes and pretty villages. We include a rail journey on the Bure Valley Railway, a cruise on the Norfolk Broads and a visit to the Sandringham Estate. The Virginia Court Hotel in Cromer offers a high standard of accommodation and personal service.

There is no lift, a limited number of ground floor rooms are available with all other rooms on the first floor.

Norfolk Broads Cruise

This morning we enjoy a 1.5hr cruise on the famous broads, taking in the unique landscape and abundant wildlife as we go. Later we take a trip on the Bure Valley Railway, a nostalgic trip on a traditional narrow gauge steam train.

Wednesday

Sandringham House

We visit Sandringham House, the country estate of His Majesty the King, where you can view the main ground floor rooms used by the Royal family and take a stroll around the formal gardens.

Sheringham & Free Time in Cromer

We take a coastal drive to Sheringham, where you can enjoy this traditional seaside resort before we return for free time in Cromer. Stroll along the pier or discover more about the RNLI heritage at the Henry Blogg Museum.

Friday

Date : May 24, 2024

Return home

We depart for home, arriving back into our local area mid to late evening.
