Eastbourne, one of Britain’s most elegant and popular resorts enjoys a glorious location on the South Coast yet has the added attraction of being surrounded by beautiful countryside and the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head. Batemans & Battle
This morning we travel to the Sussex High Weald and visit Batemans, the Jacobean family home of renowned author Rudyard Kipling. Explore this fascinating house, including many treasures and collections, and take in the beauty of the stunning gardens. We return via the fascinating town of Battle where we suggest a visit to the famous Abbey (price not included).

Royal Pavilion & Free Time in Brighton
We travel along the coast to Brighton where we begin with a visit to the Royal Pavilion. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV in the early 1800’s, prepare to be astounded at the exotic architecture and decadent interiors. The remainder of the day is free to explore the many attractions on offer in Brighton.

Return Home
Depart for home via the main roads and motorways, arriving back into the local area early evening.
