A new Irish tour for 2024 offering the choice of two dates to the fabulous Fermanagh Lakelands, filled to the brim with an abundance of sparkling lakes, gentle rivers, and weaving waterways. We are delighted to have secured accommodation at the Manor House Country Hotel, a stunning 19th century manor house offering luxury accommodation. Visits include Belleek Pottery, Ulster American Folk Park, and a special visit with guided tour of the Blessingbourne Estate. A real treat for this holiday will be an evening sunset cruise on board the ‘Lady of the Lake’, a relaxing two-hour cruise whilst being served a delicious 3-course meal.

Depart for Fermanagh

We travel via Loch Ryan and take the late morning ferry to Belfast. Our route from Belfast takes us via Enniskillen and onto the shores of Lough Erne, Fermanagh, where we check in for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Manor House Country Hotel.

Monday

Belleek, Drumcliffe & Sligo

We drive to the north shore of Lough Erne to Belleek and step back in history with a visit to the famous pottery museum which contains pieces dating back to when the pottery was started in 1857. We continue to the west coast via Mullaghmore and then onto Drumcliffe, where Ireland’s famous poet WB Yeats is buried. We take a break in Sligo and return via the Glencar Valley.

Omagh & Sunset Cruise

Today we transfer to Omagh and visit the Ulster American Folk Park which tells the story of Ulster people’s emigration to North America in the 18th and 19th centuries. This evening we enjoy a two-hour sunset cruise on board the ‘Lady of the Lake’.

Blessingbourne Country Estate & free time in Enniskillen

This morning we head for Blessingbourne Country Estate for a guided tour of the house and gardens with its fascinating history, led by the lady of the manor. At the end of the tour, we enjoy included refreshment of tea and cakes. On our return to the hotel we offer free time in the town of Enniskillen, built on a natural island that splits upper and lower Lough Erne.

Return home

We transfer to Belfast for the late morning sailing to Loch Ryan. Arriving back into the local area early evening.
