Our base is Galway, a lively city with much to discover. Galway represents traditional Ireland at its best with its own music culture, craggy countryside, wild and remote beaches and friendly locals, which serve to make your trip an even more memorable experience! We enjoy a relaxing cruise along majestic Lough Corrib, learn of the ancient mysteries of the limestone region of the Burren at the Burren Visitor Centre, visit the stunning Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden and marvel at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.

Travel to Enfield

We journey to Holyhead to board the early afternoon Irish Ferries ferry to Dublin. We then journey to Enfield for overnight half board accommodation at the Johnstown Estate.

After a relaxing start we travel across Ireland. We journey via the towns of Athlone, situated on the River Shannon near the southern shore of Lough Ree, and ‘the Quiet Man’ village of Cong o Lough Corrib to Galway for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Menlo Park Hotel.

Burren & Cliffs of Moher

Today we travel south into County Clare and tour the limestone landscape of the historic Burren. We include a visit to the Burren Centre in Kilfenora, with its tea room, craft shop and exhibition on the history of this unspoilt corner of Ireland. Later we head to the coast via Lahinch and then visit the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, where we will stop for lunch. We continue north along the coast to Blackhead and Kinvara before returning to our hotel.

Free time & boat trip aboard the Corrib Princess

This morning we enjoy some free time to explore the beautiful harbour city of Galway and get our bearings. Later we take a boat trip aboard the Corrib Princess taking in spectacular views of Galway Bay, the River Corrib and Lough Corrib as we enjoy our tea/coffee and scones.

Connemara National Park

We tour the Connemara National Park today, situated on the west coast of Ireland at the very edge of Europe. It is beautiful, unspoilt and the real emerald of Ireland. We call at Leenane for a coffee stop then on to the stunning Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden for an included visit. Our return route takes us via the bustling town of Clifden, and via the magnificent mountains and lakes of this beautiful region.

Dublin & Stillorgan

We leave our hotel and Galway today, travelling across to the east coast and the city of Dublin. Enjoy some free time to explore this vibrant city before we continue to Stillorgan for our overnight stay at the Talbot Hotel.

Return home

We depart our hotel and transfer to Dublin for our early morning sailing to Holyhead (breakfast included on-board). Travelling through North Wales, we arrive back into the local area late afternoon.
