Join us as we return to one of our most popular Irish destinations of Letterkenny where we once again soak up the Irish charm at the Clanree Hotel. We have added a slight twist to the itinerary by adding an overnight stay at the fabulous Ballygally Castle Hotel, a stunning 17th Century Castle which overlooks the golden sands of Ballygally Bay and enjoys views across the Irish Sea. Our itinerary takes us via the scenic Antrim coast, includes the awe-inspiring Giants Causeway, the fascinating Doagh Famine Village and we include a memorable lunch with live music at the famous Leo’s Tavern.

We travel via Loch Ryan and take the late morning ferry to Belfast. Our route from Belfast takes us via the scenic Antrim coast road to the village of Ballygally where we check in for overnight half board accommodation at the Ballygally Castle Hotel.Monday

Giants Causeway & Letterkenny
We depart Ballygally and follow the coastal route on the edge of the Antrim Glens to the impressive Giants Causeway, a geological wonder and home to a wealth of history and legend (shuttle bus operates between visitor centre & causeway with return fare payable to driver). Later in the day we travel to Letterkenny for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Clanree Hotel.Tuesday

Doagh Famine Village & Malin Head
A fascinating day out today as we travel to the Doagh Famine Village where the guided tour will take you on a thought provoking journey through family and community life during the Great Famine of the 1840’s. After time for lunch, we continue to the top of Ireland and rugged Malin Head, with it’s thriving birdlife and stunning views.Wednesday

Dunfanaghy & Meenaleck
We travel via Dunfanaghy and the Bloody Foreland (known locally as the Hill of Blood). We include a light lunch (and traditional Irish Music) in Leo’s Tavern, set in the attractive village of Meenaleck. Our return route takes us via Glenveagh National Park.Thursday
