The majestic Hampton Court Palace provides the perfect backdrop for one of the world’s largest flower festivals. After a break in 2026 this RHS event returns bigger and better than ever, featuring more than 700 exhibitors and illustrating the best in horticulture during high summer. There are established garden designers, new talent, and an array of different looks from traditional to contemporary. We also visit the delightful Waterperry Gardens and RHS Garden Wisley.

There is an award-winning restaurant, attractive bar, conservatory lounge, and outdoor terrace. Depart for Waterperry Gardens & Shepperton
We travel to Waterperry Gardens in the Oxfordshire countryside. These stunning gardens feature one of the best purely herbaceous borders in the country plus a formal garden, rose garden, waterlily canal, plant, and gift shop. Later we transfer to Shepperton for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Holiday Inn.

A full day at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. The spacious grounds display inspirational show gardens, smaller starter gardens and an exciting range of flowers, plants, and gardening accessories from around the world, giving you the opportunity to both browse and buy.

We spend the day at RHS Garden Wisley, which captures the imagination with richly planted borders, a luscious rose garden, and a state-of-the-art Glasshouse.

Return Home via Trentham Estate
We travel via the Trentham Estate, arriving into our local area late afternoon.
