The **** LANGSTONE QUAYS RESORT is a contemporary hotel set beside the Langstone estuary, a short drive from Portsmouth. There is a bar, and the restaurant offers waterside views and a varied menu. There is a Leisure Club which includes an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and spa treatments, which can be pre-booked separately. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and Wi-Fi. There is no lift.

We travel south to Hayling Island for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Langstone Quays Resort.

Weald & Downland Living Museum & Chichester
This morning we head to the Weald & Downland Living Museum, home to the BBC’s ‘The Repair Shop’ series – please note it is a closed set. Enjoy a hands-on glimpse of England’s rural life in bygone days. Later we head to Chichester, where you can explore the magnificent Cathedral or wander around the beautiful Bishops Palace Gardens.

Portsmouth Harbour Cruise & Free Time
Today we head to the coast for a Portsmouth harbour cruise, taking in views of the historic dockyard accompanied by an informative commentary. After disembarking at the historic dockyard, you are free to explore Portsmouth at your leisure. Please note there is a short walk from the coach drop off point to the quay for boarding your cruise.

West Dean Gardens & Midhurst
West Dean Gardens are our destination this morning. Explore the magnificent 100 metre Edwardian pergola, the breath-taking sunken garden and impressive glass houses. We continue through the scenic South Downs National Park to the heritage town of Midhurst.

Return Home
We depart Hayling Island, arriving into our local area late afternoon.
