PLEASE NOTE: This is quite a demanding touring holiday, with several hotels and ferries being used. Two of the hotels have no lift; please decide if this holiday will be suitable for you before booking. Please take an overnight bag/case along with your main case. We have plenty of luggage space.
The *** FISHERS HOTEL is situated in the heart of the beautiful highland town of Pitlochry and offers excellent comfort and Scottish hospitality. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. There is a lift.
The *** DARK ISLAND HOTEL is a traditional hotel situated in a countryside location a short walk from a beautiful beach. There is a popular bar and spacious resident’s lounge. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, complimentary toiletries, and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, but ground floor rooms are available.
The *** CALADH INN is a pleasant modern hotel with a ‘laid back’ atmosphere a short walk from the centre of Stornoway. The ‘Eleven’ restaurant has an excellent reputation for first class food. All the recently refurbished bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities and Wi-Fi. There is a lift.
The *** CALEDONIAN HOTEL overlooks Ullapool harbour with a traditional exterior and the recently renovated interior offering modern, airy accommodation. There is a coffee shop, and the Caley Inn Restaurant serves seasonal local produce. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, but some ground floor rooms are available.

We travel to Uig on the Isle of Skye for the early evening ferry to Lochmaddy on the Isle of North Uist and include a 2 course meal whilst on board. More stunning scenery today as we travel through South Uist, passing Flora Macdonald’s cottage where she hid Bonnie Prince Charlie. We then cross the causeway to the Isle of Eriskay, before boarding the ferry to the tiny and peaceful Island of Barra.Wednesday

Today we travel north through Uist to Berneray to join the morning ferry to Leverburgh, before continuing our journey through the rugged beauty of Harris & Lewis to the Caladh Hotel in Stornoway for 2 nights half board accommodation (packed lunch provided today).Thursday

Guided Tour of Lewis & Ness Historical Soceity Museum
We enjoy a full day guided tour that will bring to life the ‘Celtic Culture’ and heritage of the Isle of Lewis. We include visits to the Ness lighthouse, the Trushal Stone and the standing stones of Callanish and include entry to Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. Later in the day we include a visit & lunch at Ness Historical Society Museum.Friday
