We start our day in delightful Helmsley in the North York Moors National Park. Why not visit the annual Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints Church or discover the wide choice of eateries, interesting and unique stores, galleries and boutiques, perfect for Christmas shopping (2 hr stay). We continue to Castle Howard, an 18th century residence set within 1,000 acres of breath-taking landscape in the heart of North Yorkshire. The house will be exquisitely dressed with a ‘Christmas in Neverland’ theme and the iconic 25 ft Christmas tree will be a highlight in the Great Hall. Complete your Christmas shopping with seasonal gifts available in the gift shop, farm shop and garden centre (3 hr stay).
