Based in Pitlochry in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, we view some of Scotland’s sublime scenery and enjoy the autumn colours of this wonderful location. The highlight of the week will be the visit to the magical Enchanted Forest Sound & Light Show’. Set in a woodland garden we will experience a fantastic display of light and autumn colour.

Depart for Pitlochry

We travel north to Pitlochry for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Fishers Hotel.

Tuesday

Loch Tay, Loch Earn & Crief

A ride down the banks of Loch Tay, calling at the Falls of Dochart and Loch Earn. We continue to Crieff, a traditional Scots market town set amidst Perthshire's stunning scenery.

Wednesday

Loch Tumnel & Aberfeldy

Today we enjoy a scenic drive taking in Queens View, one of Scotland’s most famous views of Loch Tummel and Highland Perthshire, enhanced at this time of year by the stunning Autumn colours.  We continue via Tummel Bridge and onwards to Aberfeldy, made famous by the Scottish poet Robert Burns.

Glamis Castle, Free Time in Pitlochry & Enchanted Forest Sound & Light Show

We visit Glamis Castle, the ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore for over 600 years and the location for Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’. We return to Pitlochry for free time. After dinner we attend the award winning ‘Enchanted Forest Sound & Light Show’. Set in a woodland garden we will experience a fantastic display of light and autumn colour. (Please wear warm outdoor clothing & suitable footwear as the 1.8 km walk is woodland. A small torch would be useful in the unlikely event of a power failure). 

Friday

Return Home

We travel south making suitable stops along the way, arriving home early evening.
