Depart for Ferry Crossing to Belfast
We journey to Loch Ryan to board the early afternoon Stena Line ferry to Belfast. We disembark and travel to Carlow for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Seven Oaks Hotel.

Glendalough & Avoca
This morning we take a breath-taking circular drive, known as the Glendalough Gap, through the stunning Wicklow mountains. Later we visit the monastic settlement at Glendalough, a place of great beauty, history, and pilgrimage. We also call at Avoca, famed for its tradition of handweaving, and Rathdrum, with views over the Vale of Clara. In the evening enjoy traditional Irish music in the Oaks Bar.

Kilkenny Guided Tour & Free Time
After breakfast, we depart for the medieval city of Kilkenny. Upon arrival, we will board the Kilkenny City Tours Road Train for a 30-minute journey through the city's historical landmarks, including St. Canice's Cathedral, St. Francis Abbey Brewery, and the Old Courthouse. This convenient tour offers an excellent way to explore Kilkenny's rich heritage. Following the tour, you will have ample time to wander the cobbled streets and visit the magnificent 12th-century castle.

Depart for Newry via Irish National Stud & Carlingford
We depart Carlow and travel to the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens in the horse racing county of Kildare. During the tour you will discover the history of Ireland’s illustrious horse racing heritage and will also have time to explore the beauty and tranquillity of the world-renowned Japanese Gardens. Later we call at the lough-side village of Carlingford before continuing to Newry for 2 nights half board accommodation at the Canal Court Hotel & Spa.

Mountains of Mourne & Newcastle
Today we take a circular drive through the spectacular granite Mountains of Mourne and visit the charming seaside resort of Newcastle. Located at the foot of Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northen Ireland, you can take a stroll along the attractive promenade and wonderful sandy beach enjoying stunning views as you go.

Ferry Crossing to Loch Ryan & Return Home
We depart our hotel and transfer to Belfast for our late morning sailing to Loch Ryan, arriving back into the local area early evening.
