Ireland’s popularity continues and we are repeating this tour based in the pretty market town and fishing port of Bantry. The rich farmland and river valleys of County Cork contrast with a coastline where rocky peninsulas stretch like bony fingers into the Atlantic. Bantry overlooks one of the world’s finest natural harbours and a circular tour around the Beara Peninsula reveals brightly painted fishing villages overlooking broad bays. We travel along the shores of Glengarrif and enjoy a boat trip to Garnish Island, to see Mizen Head, Ireland’s most southerly point and visit the charming town of Kenmare.
