Ireland’s popularity continues and we are pleased to repeat this tour based in the pretty market town and fishing port of Bantry. The rich farmland and river valleys of County Cork contrast with a coastline where rocky peninsulas stretch like bony fingers into the Atlantic. Bantry overlooks one of the world’s finest natural harbours and a circular tour around the Beara Peninsula reveals brightly painted fishing villages overlooking broad bays. We travel along the shores of Glengarrif and enjoy a boat trip to Garnish Island, see Mizen Head, Ireland’s most southerly point and visit the charming town of Kenmare.
