Sunday

Depart for Ferry Crossing to Douglas

Morning departure, for coffee en route to Heysham for the afternoon crossing to Douglas. Our accommodation is 4 nights half board at the Rutland Hotel.

Monday

Date : August 4, 2025

Manx Electric Railway & Snaefell Mountain Railway

We explore the north of the island and view Tynwald Hill, home of the 1000-year-old Manx Parliament, before following the famous TT Motorcycle Course to 'Royal' Ramsey. Later we board the Manx Electric Railway for a journey to Laxey and continue on the Snaefell Mountain Railway for a return journey up to the highest point of the island.

Isle of Man Steam Railway & Cregneash Folk Village

We take a 1-hour journey on the Isle of Man Steam Railway, the longest narrow-gauge line in Britain, then we visit the Cregneash National Folk Museum.

Wednesday

Date : August 6, 2025

Peel & Free Time in Douglas

Today we visit the west coast of the island and the resort of Peel with its flat sandy beach, before returning for free time in Douglas.

Thursday

Return Ferry & Home

An early breakfast before taking the morning ferry to Heysham. Arrive home mid-afternoon.
