Your Holiday Accommodation:
The *** RUTLAND HOTEL is located overlooking Queens Promenade and boasts stunning views across Douglas Bay. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, and Wi-Fi. There is a lift. Please note - there are 10 steep steps up to the hotel entrance with no separate ramp access available and some steps between the lift and some bedrooms. This hotel is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.

Itineraries
Tuesday
Date : 13 October, 2026
Depart for Heysham & Isle of Man
Morning departure, we include a coffee stop en route to Heysham for the afternoon crossing to Douglas. Our accommodation is 4 nights half board at the Rutland Hotel, Douglas.
Wednesday
Date : 14 October, 2026
Laxey Wheel & Free Time
A half-day tour to the Laxey Wheel (entry not included). The afternoon is free to explore the capital – why not take a ride on the Manx Electric Railway, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Thursday
Date : 15 October, 2026
Train Journey & Port Erin
This morning, we step back in time for a journey you will never forget, experiencing the grandeur of travelling between Douglas and the south of the Island on a Victorian railway, perfectly frozen in time. We disembark in Port Erin, later in the day we visit Castletown.
Friday
Date : 16 October, 2026
Peel & Free Time
We take a trip over to the west coast and the resort of Peel with its flat sandy beach and absorbing attractions. We head back to Douglas, for free time in the island's capital, a unique blend of holiday resort, finance centre and working harbour. Not to be missed is the award-winning Manx Museum (free of charge) for a journey of discovery into the island's absorbing history.
Saturday
Date : 17 October, 2026
Return Home
We depart after an early breakfast and transfer to the port at Douglas to catch the morning boat to Heysham. Arrive home mid-afternoon.
