We journey to market town of Barnard Castle, in the heart of the Pennines and visit The Bowes Museum. Later we continue to Durham and the Radisson Blu Hotel for 3 nights half board accommodation.Saturday

Free day in Durham & Bishop Auckland for Kynren
We spend the day at leisure exploring the city of Durham, why not visit the Cathedral and Castle UNESCO World Heritage sites, or the quirky shops and eateries set in the maze of hilly, cobbled streets. We have an early dinner in the hotel before we head to Bishop Auckland for Kynren, a thrilling tale told on an enormous scale bringing to life the incredible story of England’s last 2,000 years, taking the audiences on an action-packed journey through time. Travel through the fog of war, noise of battle, heat of industry and pageantry of royal ceremony; from King Arthur and the Romans to Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, and the Victorians, all told with thrilling choreography, amazing stunts, equestrianism, special effects, and pyrotechnics. Please note this is an outdoor show so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather conditions. Seating is firm so you may wish to bring a small cushion.Sunday
