Looe is one of Cornwall’s prettiest resorts, with its ancient traditions based on the fishing industry and harbour. The town has recently been used as a filming location for the ‘Death in Paradise’ spin-off BBC TV series ‘Beyond Paradise’. Our base is the Portbyhan Hotel, which offers views across the harbour and the unspoilt Cornish coast.

We journey to Looe for 5/6 nights half board accommodation at The Portbyhan Hotel. Cream Tea on arrival as you begin your holiday.

Excursions

We discover some of Cornwall’s prettiest fishing villages, including Charlestown and a trip to Fowey, once home to Daphne du Maurier, a town packed with Medieval and Georgian buildings. A minibus runs from the coach park down to the town between 10am – 6pm. (There will be a small charge for the service).
The Eden Project, a global garden and place of beauty which explores humankind's dependence on natural resources.
A morning visit to Polperro, followed by a free afternoon in our home resort, enjoy a Cornish cream tea or take a stroll along the harbour.
A free day in our home resort and chance to enjoy the town and area at your own pace.
A visit to the maritime city of Plymouth
