The Channel Islands are geographically closer to France but remain loyal to the British crown.  This tour offers a delightful blend of France and England, featuring both Jersey and Guernsey, the islands have a character all of their own with beautiful beaches, cliff paths, busy fishing harbours and a warm climate.  Enjoy a continental atmosphere but without any of the problems associated with travelling abroad – no currency or language problems.  Excellent for walking, join a guided walk or do your own thing using the excellent bus services to visit the many places of interest and superb beaches.  Car hire is another good way to explore these great islands, but island coach tours are included, and we also take a trip to Sark.  We travel out by air from Manchester Airport, returning to Liverpool Airport,  and coach transfers are included.

Your Holiday Accommodation:

The *** PENINSULA HOTEL is set in 5 acres of grounds in a prominent sea front position. It is located on the Vale of Peninsula, in a residential area and overlooks 2 sleepy fishing bays.  All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea making facilities. The restaurant serves a 3-course dinner and buffet breakfast using fresh local ingredients. There is an outdoor swimming pool, heated in the summer months. There is level access throughout the public area and a lift serves all rooms. Wi-Fi is available in the hotel lobby. Entertainment is generally provided twice a week throughout the summer season. A local bus service operates to St. Peter Port from near the hotel (approx. 4 per hour). Please note St Peter Port is built on a hill so walking around the town can be challenging.

The *** MERTON HOTEL is a 10-minute walk from St Helier town centre and the nearest beach. Contemporary in style, it has a choice of bars and restaurants and excellent facilities including sun terraces and gardens, outdoor and indoor pools with water slides, fitness centre, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, ironing board & iron and Wi-Fi.  There is entertainment most evenings. There is a lift.
