Depart for Chatsworth House & South Normanton
We journey into the heart of the Derbyshire Dales to visit the magnificent Chatsworth House, one of England’s most treasured stately homes. Entry to the house is included, giving you the chance to explore its world-renowned art collections, stunning landscaped gardens, and rich heritage. Home to the Devonshire family for generations, Chatsworth reflects centuries of evolving tastes, passions, and traditions. We continue to South Normanton for 2 nights of half-board accommodation at the Holiday Inn Hotel.

Nottingham River Cruise & Matlock Bath Illuminations
We visit Nottingham, famous for the legend of Robin Hood, and enjoy free time. A delicious lunch is included as we take an afternoon cruise on the River Trent. We return to the hotel for an early evening meal (soup and sandwiches) before making our way to Matlock Bath and the Derwent Gardens. The parade of decorated and illuminated boats commences at 8pm and the climax of this magical experience is a firework display. This is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately.

Bakewell, Buxton & Return Home
Our return journey takes us through the scenic Peak District, with time to enjoy the charming towns of Bakewell and Buxton along the way. Late afternoon, we continue our journey home, arriving back by early evening.
