Situated on the former site of Worsley New Hall, we visit the Royal Horticultural Society’s first new garden for 18 years, RHS Bridgewater. The delayed opening of the garden has allowed the specialist gardeners to create even more spectacular displays for us to enjoy! The original walled garden forms the heart of the site, now encompassing the Paradise Garden, Kitchen Garden and Wellbeing Garden within the lovingly restored walls. There is also the Orchard Garden with its gothic garden cottage and heritage fruit trees plus the Learning Gardens and community growing spaces all designed to inspire the visitor. A wonderful day out for all garden enthusiasts.
