We once again offer an Autumn sunshine tour, based in the delightful Spanish resort of Roses. The main attraction on the Costas of Catalonia are the beaches and the mild climate. The Costa Brava has retained much of its original charm and this beautiful region is well worth a visit. Roses is a delightful resort nestled in a bay with a lovely sandy beach whilst still retaining an historic ‘old town’ feeling. The Citadel is an interesting visit, offering views across the bay, and other attractions include the Sunday morning market, various boat trips and land train excursions. We enjoy some magnificent coastal and mountain scenery with a full day excursion into the magnificent Pyrenees Mountains and a day to the ancient city of Girona. We return to the Mediterraneo Park Hotel.

Your Holiday Accommodation:
The **** NOVOTEL DIJON SUD lies on the outskirts of the town, 5.5km from Dijon Cathedral. It is a modern spacious hotel, all bedrooms are en suite with TV, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, and tea making facilities. There is a restaurant, open plan bar, plus a terrace and outdoor pool. There is no lift but there are ground floor rooms.
The **** HOTEL MEDITERRANEO PARK is set in lovely gardens with views of the beautiful mountains of L’Albera and is just a short walk from the golden sandy beach of Roses. All bedrooms are en suite with air conditioning, TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe, fridge, balcony/terrace, and Wi-Fi. You can enjoy the finest Mediterranean and international cuisine in the spacious restaurant overlooking the gardens and there are two bars serving drinks, cocktails and snacks. There are three outdoor swimming pools, a gym and a spa with indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and beauty treatments. There is a lift.

Depart for Roses
We continue our journey following the Rhone Valley South. With the Pyrenees in sight, we cross the border into Spain and then continue the short distance to our hotel in Roses where accommodation has been arranged for 6 nights in the Mediterraneo Park Hotel.Tuesday-Saturday
Excursions
A full day tour via the rugged coastline of the Costa Brava with its magnificent sea views. We continue through Portbou and over the border into France to the pretty village of Collioure, once a fortified port and favourite haunt of Bohemian from both past and present. Dali and Picasso have both worked here and today young artists paint the quaint colourful harbour and the Royal Palace
Full day into the magnificent Pyrenees. We visit the picturesque village of Castellfollit de la Roca, the small town of Camprodon and the wonderful medieval town of Besalu.
A short excursion to the pretty fishing village of Cadaques where Salvador Dali painted some of his most famous coastal scenes.
Join us on an excursion to the medieval city of Girona, Northern Catalonia’s largest city, packed with museums, galleries, and Gothic churches, strung around a tangle of cobbled lanes and medieval walls.
There will be a free day to enjoy Roses.
