The *** RED LEA HOTEL is located on Scarborough’s South Cliff, close to the Cliff Lift. The town centre, castle and bustling harbour are only a short stroll away. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities and Wi-Fi. Relax in the comfortable lounges or enjoy the fully heated indoor swimming pool. Please note there are eight steps up into the hotel with handrails. There is a lift.

Depart for Malton then onto Scarborough

We travel to Malton where we visit the award-winning Eden Camp, a modern history theme museum. We continue to Scarborough for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Red Lea Hotel.

Tuesday

Date : September 3, 2024

Filey & Bridlington

We follow the Yorkshire coast to the charming seaside resort of Filey with its golden, sandy beach. We then continue to Bridlington where there will be free time to explore before returning via the Yorkshire Wolds.

A free day to enjoy our home resort of Scarborough.

Goathland & Whitby

The attractive village of Goathland is our first destination this morning, famous for its appearance as 'Aidensfield' in the television series 'Heartbeat' and its role in the 'Harry Potter' films. Later, we visit Whitby, one of the most famous and popular seaside towns in Yorkshire.

Friday

Return home via Guisborough & Salburn-by-the-Sea,

We travel through the North York Moors National Park to the market town of Guisborough before continuing to Salburn-by-the-Sea, with its original charm as a Victorian seaside resort. Depart mid-afternoon, arriving back into the local area early evening.
