We travel north taking a scenic route, via Hawick and Selkirk, to the pretty border town of Galashiels, situated at the heart of Scotland’s historic textile industry. There will be time to have some lunch and visit the Great Tapestry of Scotland. One hundred and sixty breath-taking panels, created by 1,000 stitchers,  bring to life the colourful history and culture of this vibrant nation all displayed in a magnificent purpose-built contemporary gallery and visitors’ centre (3 hr stay approx). We continue to the riverside town of Peebles, set on the banks of the Tweed and surrounded by stunning scenery and with plenty of independent stores and cafes (2 hr stay). A lovely day out!

PICK UP POINTS: 7.00 am Settle Whitefriars CP or Falcon Hotel ⚫ 7.20 am Ingleton Community Centre ⚫ 7.25 am Ingleton Bibby’s Depot ⚫ 7.35 am Kirkby Lonsdale Square ⚫ 7.45 am Preston Patrick Memorial Hall*. Entry included.

*PLEASE NOTE: When parking at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall there is now a charge of £5 per car and parking is limited to 5 spaces. All cars must park at the rear of the hall nearest the canal. When the coach arrives to collect you our driver will hand you a ticket which must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle before you board the coach. Alternatively, you can park at our Ingleton Depot free of charge.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR EXCURSION

If you cancel an excursion with an inclusive entry/lunch etc we will refund the transport element only, unless we are able to re-sell the seat. We will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes. Under 7 days no refunds will be given.

If you cancel an excursion without an inclusive entry/lunch etc we will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes and refund the remainder. Under 7 days no refunds will be given.

If you cancel a theatre day trip you will be refunded only if we re-sell the seat and ticket. Then we will retain £3.00 per person for admin purposes.
