After an early start we journey north to Wester Ross for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Gairloch Hotel.

Loch a' Chrosig & Kyle of Lochalsh
A day of stunning Scottish scenery today as we travel along the shores of Loch a' Chroisg via Achnasheen and onwards to Kyle of Lochalsh for a break. Our return route takes us via Shieldaig, Torridon and Kinlochewe.

Inverewe Garden & Gruinard Bay
Today we visit the inspiring loch-side garden at Inverewe. Blessed with a Gulf Stream micro-climate, the variety of plants is surprisingly diverse and if you can tear yourself away from the views you will also discover Inverewe House Museum, a fascinating visitors centre and recently refurbished café. Later we take the short drive to Gruinard Bay to enjoy the breathtaking views across to Gruinard Island and beyond.

Depart for Nairn & Aberdeen
Leaving the west coast today, we travel via the Moray Firth and take a break in Nairn. We follow the coastline east via Banff and onwards to the outskirts of Aberdeen for 2 nights half board accommodation at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel.

Ballater & Balmoral Castle
We explore Royal Deeside today visiting the town of Ballater, where many stores display their royal warrants, Crathie church where the Royal Family worship and the Balmoral Estate. Discover the charming gardens, take an audio guided tour around the exhibitions, and take in the splendour of the historic ballroom, the venue for generations of Royal celebrations.

Return Home via Angus Coast
We travel home via the Angus Coast, with suitable stops along the way, arriving into our local area early evening.
